I know this probably might sound like me whining -- and I know I should probably know better than to ask -- but I still would like to know what makes a story worth putting on the featured stories page.
I would like to think that at the very least, my most recent epic might be worthy of making the featured list ...
Maybe my writing needs further improvement, or I need to come up with something truly original, though I think a fair amount of some of my writing must have SOME original thought to it ...
Yeah, I know quite a bit of it is derivative and borrows from other sources.
Even so, there's a part of me that desires to see at least ONE of my stories make the featured list, even if for just one day.
My rant is over now, you may return to your regularly scheduled reading/writing as before.

Trust me, i know most people tried to get theirs feature. One story i'm will working on. I just hope it get's to the features since it involves a pony war against Pegasus and Unicorns for the first few chapters and four ocs escape to ponyville after almost getting killed.
Well, I wouldn't find your fics if it wasn't for the featured "Twilight For A Day" story. And I'm very glad I did. =)
946032 Thanks for letting me know it got featured -- I never saw it on the front page, except for when I updated it. I suppose that's why it got as many comments as it did and how the number of views for that particular story have outpaced all my others. Thanks again for sticking with me, I really appreciate it.
You know, Michael once wished for "something" for a day. And you see what he have gotten himself into - a great number of fanfiction and universes. Be carefull, for your wishes can come true from an unexpected angle.
949073 Truthfully, I don't think I'd be able to handle being transformed into Twilight Sparkle as well as my OC did ... LOL
Really, I believe featuring is based on some basic algorithm or something mathy like that programmed into the website.
From what I know, back when FimFic only allowed three features on the front page, if your Likes exceed your dislikes by enough (And if it is fast enough), then the computer will feature your story.
