    Call to Arms: Writers

Quick little update before I get into the main subject: Festival update is coming along, just trying my best to keep the next chapter from crashing and burning. This update is one of the more important ones.

That aside, I'm here to tell any fellow writers about the third monthly /fic/ off, found over on ponychan at this link.

    The Festivities Continue

Hoo boy. I was hoping to have the update done by Easter (and I hope y'all had a good one), but my cold got worse and took me out of comission for a couple days. I'm not quite happy being the person with a story you have to reread every time there's an update, but I'm going to be working on that. Anyway, the updates here, and I've got a new story coming once the site approves it. In brief:

    Quick Update

Bleugugh. Don't feel well. Quick update.

    1. Festival update is almost done. Just last part and editing to go. If I can get over this harsh cold, expect it in a day or two.
    2. Still need art help. If any artists are interested, send me a message.
    3. Expect a new story to go with the Festival update.

It's Good to be Back (and Artistic Assistance Required)

First things first: My computer was hit pretty hard, but things seem to be going fine so far. As such, it's finally time to get that update paved out. Expect a new Festival chapter within a week.

    Technical Difficulties

So, yesterday, I decided to stop kicking myself in the rear for procrastinating and finally finish the Festival update I'd started. And then, bam, my computer's under attack from an annoying virus. Tried to fix it, but no, hadda send the poor thing away to the digital vet. I managed to save the story file (and various other important ones), so at least I won't have to start over. However,

However, this is going to end up delaying the update a little bit more. My apologies for the wait, friends.

On a side note, I entered the second /fic/ off, which means I've got another story on the way. I might hold onto it for a bit to do some editing, but hopefully some of you might enjoy that. Speaking of the /fic/ off, y'all should consider assisting in the voting process over at http://www.fimfiction.net/story/15274/Double-edged-Sword. Most of the stories I've read so far are enjoyable, and it's worth the time.

Thanks for putting up with the wait, and thanks for enjoying my stories in the first place, everypony. Have a nice day.

P.S. I will figure out how to include images if it kills me. TAKE THIS!

Curses, foiled again... :pinkiesad2:

Oh Silverquill, at least you tried. :trollestia:

Sorry to hear about your computer woes, hope you get things up and running again soon!

The best way to include an image in your post: go to Imgur.com and upload the image (you can choose to upload it from your computer or from the web). You'll be sent to a page where you can copy and paste BBcode to display your image in your post. This avoids attempting to leech resources from a site that doesn't want you linking their images elsewhere.

I believe this is what you were looking for?

Thanks for the tip, mate. :pinkiehappy:

At least I wont have to hit you with a noodle in excess.

Still, be prepared to be hit with a noodle.
