The World of Skyfall · 9:21am Mar 21st, 2013
A little while ago, I had promised to release my version of the world map to everyone, so you could follow along with the locations, get a sense of environment and destination, and really immerse yourselves in the atmosphere. Well now, I am pleased to announce that you can all join in.
Fillies and gentlecolts (ladies and gentlemen, for those of you tired of the pony idioms), I give you the world of Skyfall!
For any of you wishing to download the full resolution version of this, it can be found here.
This was all crafted by me on my own time and it took about twelve hours of my life from conception and draft to completion. This map is also subject to change as the events of Skyfall unfurl, and if it does get altered, I will post the most current version.
Let me know what you all think!

Pretty in-depth.
The only question is, what are those light green pock-marks in Saddle Arabia. Are those grasslands or Equestrian-controlled?

The darker shades of green on green, and anywhere green is found standing alone are either forests or fertile land in more arid areas. The map is more topographical than political. Saddle Arabia doesn't have any deltas, did you mean Zavros?

I see, never mind. I was thinking political map.
Excellent work!

Personally, I believed for the land to be slightly .... well .... more land. I kinda expected the continents to be larger and chunkier and maybe incorporate other countries that haven't be introduced yet ... but I still have to say that its pretty good.
And it may just be me but doesn't the left continent look slightly ... VERY SLIGHTLY like the American Continents on Earth ...... just sayin

Like the legend says, size is not to scale. It was as large as I could make it in Photoshop without breaking a gig in file size.
But nope. Like Earth, my version of the world is mostly water. We do still have six nations that haven't been physically explored yet, and a hell of a lot of Equestria untouched too. And as for the American reference... actually, kinda, yeah. That was... completely unintentional.

I did not read the instructions ..... I am a MAN!!!!!!
And I feel the upload problem, when I send data to one of my friends, it can take a while.
My advice for any future maps would be for the maps to be ... chunkier! ( dodgy choice of words but meh .... )
