Well folks, I've posted another story, and it's awaiting approval. Here it is, if you want a sneak peak at it. It's much different fare than One Honest Mare, but sometimes you just need to write something different. I actually really should have been working on an essay tonight, but sometimes I just need to write something I enjoy. It doesn't have a cover image yet, so if you have a suggestion, I would very much appreciate it.
Oh, I should say that it's Human in Equestria, if that makes any difference to you. I'll also be straight up about something. Since this is an exercise in comedy, a genre which I have no experience writing, several of the male main characters will be based off of aspects of me, for ease of writing. Not quite self inserts, but if someone knew me well they might wonder if these characters were based off of me. Leonard, the main character, is based off the side of me that just wants to create beautiful things with his hands, read, and spend time out of doors. He is sincerely at his happiest when he's hard at work.
