Tha's What 't's All Aboot.

Thought I'd have a little fun with the third chapter. The biggest one was giving a voice to Pinkie's family members (aside from Blinky/Octavia). Looking at Mr. Pie (unofficial name "Clyde", for those keeping up with the Pac-Man motif), for some reason he reminded me of Mike Meyer's Scottsman imitations, which is why Mr. Pie originally hails from Inverneighs (Inverness, Scotland). But since I felt the Scottish accent was overdone, I decided to give him a Sommerset accent (from the English West Country; those not familiar with the area will know it as the stereotypical pirate "Arrrrr, matey" accent.) Why did I chose a Sommerset accent and dialect? Chalk it up to one too many listenings of the Wurzels. As to why the youngest sister (Inky) picked up the accent? Most fanfics have her remain at home, so since she stayed on the farm and was constantly exposed to her father's accent, it'd be natural to pick it up, same as the way Rarity picked it up from her mentor.

Another bone of contention that people will probably have is with the Faust character. Well, there's not been a real way to portray Lauren Faust's avatar, so I decided to make her a fallible divinity, similar to Zeus (though without all the Mac Daddy bit). Also, her leaving her children behind at a ridiculously young age also mimics some mythological aspects. Speaking of mythology, while I have mentioned humanity, this is not a human fic and I have no plans as of late to introduce any.

Last, for a hint of what's going on, look at some of the background character names. With the exception of a couple, they're already part of the franchise mythos.
