Good and bad news.. · 1:22pm Mar 14th, 2013
The good news: In 5 days our academic year would end, meaning it's summer vacation.
The bad news: The honors (the one with the rank, in short smartest) has been announced (actually it has been announced last week I just don't have the time.) So, my rank, from 3rd place, fell all the way down to 6th. 6TH. 6TH . JUST BECAUSE OF CO- CURRICULAR (the activities that you join, like school programs, they make up the 30% of the actual grade.) EFFIN CO- CURRICULAR. I SHOULD'VE BEEN 4TH. I'M 7TH AT THE RANKING ON CO- CURRICULAR. I MEAN, WHY CALL IT ACADEMIC YEAR IF YOU WILL JUST ADD ACTIVITIES.

Thats not to bad. Hell when I was in high school I was maybe 20th out of maybe 50 total students. That was years ago though. I was only that number because I had didn't have to take an extra class to graduate so I didn't do the work in the class. that is was bumped me so far off the scale. I would have been 8th or 9th.

919867sorry to hear that my dear. You work hard. Very hard to please your parents and friends. Your parents should be more supportive for you. I would talk to them and tell them how you feel about them blaming you for not getting into a higher rank in your studies. Having them belittle you and blame you will always have an impact on your emotions. Hence, possibly making an impact on your grades due to possible depression. I will support you in the good or bad. Your parents should do the same.
Try talking to them and make them understand. Tell them to talk to me if they want. I can help them understand if you can't or don't want too. Hope everything goes smoothly
919903 Thanks BD! But, it's alright. They are just shocked because I've never been to that rank before. They just said that I should try next year... About the depression part, I'm actually depressed when I got a low grade in Math, but then I said: "Meh, I'll pursue. Depression won't let me do things right.." No need to worry about anything BD!
