So there have been a few developments over the past few days in terms of my TDverse stories.
1. I'm tossing around making a few deleted scenes canon. I'd have to look over them to see how they would fit into the universe if they were an official part, but I'm tossing around maybe Royal Love is a Royal Pain in the...
2. Working on Wanderings 7 (and Broken Blossom 5) so that should be off to my pre-reader in a few days.
3. So, here's the big one. I recently finished Breaking of a Non-Brony as you all know or will know soon. If you haven't hit the X button now because there are spoilers ahead.
I have gotten a few requests from you guys asking for either one more chapter and/or a sequel. TV Tropes sure seems to think that the final line was a sequel hook. I just want to get this settled right now. While I am open to the possibility of one more chapter, TD in Breaking is essentially dead and will stay dead. There's really no point in a sequel if TD's not in it. He wouldn't be that snarky sarcastic defiant guy you all know and lo... know and find interest in, he'd be a half-living shell if he got out.
Having said all of that, does that mean that there will never be a Breaking sequel? No but it's unlikely. Now, I don't want you to worry about the main storyline because (especially now that I'm done with Breaking) I hope to have those chapters out faster. I have a crapton of awesome stuff planned for you guys as long as you have interest. I will of course be doing other side projects for people who are interested in that kind of thing (including an Applejack story and a Fluttershy story that people who adore(d) the killer Rarity trilogy will find most delightful but I don't want to give too much away) but yeah, a breaking sequel is about as likely as Ghostbusters III. Not to say that it won't ever happen, but it's unlikely.

905347 And you in your life.
Breaking sequel or no deal.

What would you like to see in a sequel and what would be the purpose be?
Whatever you end up doing, I'll probably read. Always loved your stuff.
(most generic response ever.)

I mean... I dunno. I guess I'm just curious as to what would happen. It's no big deal or anything. You know what? Why don't you just go ahead and disregard everything I've said. I'd be quite content with that option. Proceed.
905350 Thanks!Next Week Is Our NAT Exam.
905415 you could have it that TD and Discord fused and it was TD that alowed Fluttershy to befriend and reform Discord in "Keep calm and flutter on".
I still think you could easily turn each of the timeline into a metaverse story; a crisis happens where either the characters or memories from each divergent timeline bleed into a single, new timeline, and they (the living TDs and the incarnations of each of the Mane 6 and Celestia, etc) must go on a Hero's Journey type quest to fix things.
As well as each of the characters trying to get along as the quest progresses to the climax (for example, one Celestia who supports a TD that didn't go nuts like in the Earth-Rarity story versus the one whose TD freed Discord - anger, distrust, etc) in a character fuelled story (as well as human nature - TD's seeing what choices they could have made and the resulting guilt, etc.), you'll also have the chance to create a kickass antagonist - hell, maybe with an undead and enslaved, regretful TD minion (from the grim-dark timeline), Prince Rurik from Guild Wars: Prophecies style.
Ya got potential here for something great.
