Parts of this fanfic validated by the last episode:
- Luna's night guard does guard the palace during night.shift
- Time loops are possible in MLP's universe.
- Ponies look badass in skintight black lycra (okay I made that last one up)
I feel lucky; I've been able to dodge any major incosistencies with the canon episodes and a few of them have actually matched what I had previously written like in this case. We'll see how well it survives into season 3.
Oh, and the epilogue might be a day or so late, sorry.
But! I have some ideas about some follow up stories, mostly shorter chapter things that range from humorous to serious, and maybe some clop too just to try my claws at it, but they will all occur in the same universe.

Dodging canon contradiction with fanfic is always hard, though I think most people are understanding if your story is quality and clearly written before details were revealed.

32652 Writing Trixie clop runs the risk of being overly hammy though. I just get this image in my head of her blurting out things like "Now watch in AWE as the Great and Powerful Trixie performs oral sex!" I think there was a youtubepoop video that included that once.
