Hey, folks, just a quick little post.
SimCity (5, but apparently we stopped counting)'s out, which I'd been looking forward to for awhile. From what I've gotten to play so far, it's good stuff. Of course, what I've gotten to play so far has been limited by EA's servers gasping and dying under the crush of players, because apparently the fact that this happens with every single major online-only game hasn't registered with publishers yet.
Anyway. My Origin account name's Kavonde83 (apparently, I claimed Kavonde a long time ago for a demo or something, but the email tied to that account's dead and I couldn't reset the password). If folks are interested, I figured we could start up a private region and, y'know, simulate cities and such. Hit me up if you're interested. And, you know, if we can actually log into the damn game. (Sigh.)

EDIT: Oh, and I'm on the North American West 1 server. Not even sure if that matters, but hey.

I WANT IT SO BAD! Sadly, after the month's car insurance, my bank account will have a grant total of $5 in it!
So when I get it, I'll hit you up, man! I only played SimCity 4 (with RushHour expansion) before, but I freaking loved it. Can't wait!
Also, once you get some peeps in there to work with you, we should make a video series.
