When people grow up in negative or abusive circumstances...some get out, becoming better human beings leaving the nightmares a bitter past...some can't seem to escape it no matter how much anyone wants them to or tries to show them a better way. How can this be? I have personally known siblings from the same families go in completely opposite directions.

I've seen people with lots of help, love and support become the most bitter people and I have seen people with lots stacked against them refuse to succumb to the negativity that surrounds them. Is it just as simple as a Choice? How does one decide to make this choice that will effect the rest of their life and those around them and not choose the better? I've never understood it! Very Sad!!!

This morning somthing hit me...deep inside my spirit. It is the sensitive people, the pure of heart, that never let the negativity in to take root. They never succumb to the nightmares. They never give up. They never lose Faith!! That hit me pretty hard as I am trying to deal with some issues in my life concerning some of the people that I love the most. While I have fought hard to never lose my faith, it breaks my heart to watch some of those that I have loved the most give up.

Never Give Up....NEVER LOSE FAITH!!!

And if you have...It's NEVER TOO LATE to turn around and get some!!! This is my hope for those that I love, which is also part of Faith...HOPE!!!

Keep Smiling!!! You NEVER KNOW who just might need a little sunshine on an otherwise dreary day. Be A Blessing To Those Around You!!! Who knows, you just might help someone else who is struggling to find their way...

Be the light in an otherwise dark and depraved world...everyone is fighting a battle of some kind...even those of us who are always smiling on the outside fight battles that no one else will ever know about!

It is the sensitive people, the pure of heart, that never let the negativity in to take root.

Huh.
This morning at church, the pastor was preaching about a few topics. One was based around the "marble and the grape."

When pressured, the marble becomes cracked and can hurt others. Those who have hardened hearts don't care for others when in trouble, and look at life in a negative manner.
When pressured, the grape becomes squished and releases an inner beauty (juice).

Grape juice and wine are also a symbolism for Jesus' blood.
Those who have softened hearts are willing to look out for others at their own expense, and look at life in an optimistic manner. They pray to God to help them with their problems, and are willing to receive His blessing no matter how it is sent.

Just thought it was funny how this tied into the sermon.
