    Raining

    It's raining outside
    Maybe inside too
    I can't tell though
Inside, I can't feel the rain on my skin

    Perhaps it's just the temperature
    That would explain the cold
But not why I hear the rain falling
a steady drip-drip down my nose

I'm standing in the rain, you see
It splashes from skin to shirt
    And if it's not raining
Then why are my eyes so wet?

    It's hailing outside

    For the first time ever...

I'm not going to be single for Valentine's Day.

I don't know how to feel about that, so you guys tell me how to feel.

Anyways, happy Single's Awareness Day! Those of you enjoying the day, kudos to you. Those of you suffering from this day... my condolences.

    Another year

Another year I walk the sands
They shift and change beneath my feet
Yet through it all I walk.

Another year I see the others walk the sands
Some falter and slip beneath the sand
Others lay roads for still later others to tread

The roads vanish beneath the sands
And yet they are the sands themselves
So perhaps they never were, or still are

Some do not walk the sands like I

ONS Special Chapter and a Limited Time left to Vote! · 1:05am Feb 27th, 2013

For the love of swiss cheese, please fricken' vote!
You guys have until this Friday to vote, so please vote about where they are going. It is INCREDIBLY important, alright? Your decisions effect VERY large portions of the story, so please vote.

The things to vote on, if there are any at the end of a chapter, show up in the Author's Notes at the end of the chapter, and in this case are the following:

To decide where Johan Allegro and Victoria Frost arrive at, at the end of their tram ride, please choose one of the following areas;
Military District - Vice-Admiral Sarnow might be willing to help them. He's been a nice guy in the past, and he knew Frost's dad and Johan's mom. However, he's military to the core, and if there's any doubt about them or their motive, it might end in tragedy, but they could easily get better armor or weapons from here in any case, or at least access to some upgrades for their current ones.
Shipping Quarter - They can probably spoof the clearance required, and get to the docks, and try to find a ship out of here. It's a slim chance, but a chance nonetheless. Along the way, they might be able to collect up more supplies than might be found anywhere else, including that most vital of supplies, medigel.
Civilian Habitat PV-07 - Back where they came from, maybe the massacre was spared of the peaceful little space-village. at the least, they may find some survivors, and in numbers there is safety.

Remember that each choice will have its own repercussions, advantages, and scenes. They are not just re-toolings of each other. Each location has a VERY different end result to going there, including leading the ENTIRE group to a different Story End.

Anyways, I'm sure you're all wanting to get to the sexy-fun-times, so I will say, right now, that the special chapter is NSFW, so be warned about that.
[Chapter 8.5 - First Class Service]
