As long as you're not cramming ponies down their throat, they should be fine. Try showing them stuff like Carbon Maestro, DJAlexS, and other famous brony DJs. This will lure him in with the amazing music, and make him all the more curious as to what else the fanbase has to offer. As for what to start with in the music, try the theme of the Solar Empire by Carbon Maestro (ironic, I know. It's my favorite song by him, and I'm a Lunar Republican ). Then, show him fanart. Not necessarily art that depicts accurate things from the show, but more like very well done paintings of Canterlot, Ponyville, Cloudsdale, and a few pony paintings (make sure they're VERY well done, otherwise they could be a turn off). Once he has become very interested due to the fantastic music and the stunning fanart, time to show him the actual series. His subconscious will crave more stuff from the fanbase, and manipulate his consciousness with this fact: "If I like the show, then I will have an excuse to look up more fanart and songs." After about 5 episodes, he should be hooked, or at least getting very close to being hooked. He'll keep watching, and next thing you know, BAM!
