Now this, is interesting. LINK I think it is a pretty neat idea, and personally - I want one. Even though you will look completely dumb wearing it, I wants it! I even entered to try and get one... but with my luck I probably wont :P And if I did, I'd have to figure out how in the hell I'm going to manage to get $1,500 in a short amount of time to pay for it...
Dunno why I posted it. What do you think about the 'Glass'?
Buckin' technology man. Next thing you know, we'll be able to watch TV shows that we can enter and interact with; play video games where we are the main characters...
It's interesting, but it's not a mature technology yet. Videophones were really cool and futuristic in the 90s, but face-to-face-over-distance didn't really hit its stride until things like Skype stated coming out. Glass is certainly promising, but at the moment it's still in the 90s videophone phase; cool, but lacking the impact that it'll have in five to ten years.
I'll be waiting a bit before I think about buying in. I'd be interested in having something like this, but people still need to work out exactly what they're going to do with this fancy new thing, and then work out all the early version bugs. The iPhone 1 was cool too, but I didn't really consider buying one until we got to 4.
