As I wrote the last part of the prologue, I actually came close to nearly having to shut off the song in order to finish writing it. There was a such a heavy pit in my gut, I thought I was at my grandfather's funeral again (insert 21 Gun Salute for a Marine here). I mean, My Little Dashie made this song great, but I bet if I wrote more emotionally in the Prologue, I could've beat it. Ouch, my heartstrings...

Not that I'd mind giving my life if it meant that hundreds of others were spared, in fact theres an old saying: Marines never die, they just regroup in hell.(Implying that they're badasses, not that they are horrid people.)

Eeyup, I know that saying. That's why I want to become a pilot in the Air Force so we don't loose so many soldiers who go without air support. I'd rather be shot down and have saved some guys lives then sit in a hangar and do nothing but move a wrench for four hours straight.
848423 You're one in a million then, the Air Force (Still need it, excuse this next comment if it offends you) has become the Chair Force, with the UAV's and desk jobs there. Not many pilots apply, or even pass the req's. But, good luck dude! May God grant you the eyes of an eagle when you're being tested. All a marine/army recruit needs is the willingness to be broken down, and rebuilt haha.

I think this will be the theme song of Dusty. It fits so well when I'm writing the story. It literally screams out "Dusty" to me.
