Hello, i'm Storiesatrandom, i remember it, so you don't have too. Remember when Hasbro has released those commercels were they were gonna give Twilight her "desteny"? well, let's face it. We should've figured the exsitence of "Magical Duel", "Wonderbolt acadamey", and the Discord comes back episode was only a matter of time! i hope it was just fanisty, but, they actselly did it! they made Twilight an Alicorn! why? It's our fault you morons! obviously, the Twilight becoming an Alicorn thing was frankly, the most popular fanon idea, that they deside to bring the most popular ones into canon! But does that mean i hate the episode? No, it was okay, but the problem is, it halfy feels like every "Twilight becomes an Alicorn" fanfiction, but thankfully ALOT of twiks into the plot to make it look like it wasn't from ANY of our fanfics! Noble attempt hasbro, but we're not idiots! Don't get me wrong, i have nothing against the episode or "Twilight Becomes an Alicorn" fanfics in general, it's just, just because it's something us bronies do here in sites like FIMfiction, DOESN'T mean we want it to become canon! well, maybe i can't speak for ALL of us, but it feels awkword that at least 4 episodes are argueably Fanfictions given a budget. i have no problem fully, but, at the same time, it wasn't really called for. Anyway, the episode in my book was fine. I'm not gonna be ignorent to the fact that it may be "flawwed", and yes, i can see why. Hasbro is failing to respect the boundery between what's canon and what's something WE made up! thank god the fact that it's a kids show (For little girls mind you) may most surely prevent THIS from becoming canon!
and i hope to god they avoid those "Anti-Celestia" memes i hate so much! (Molestia is most likely for OBVIOUS reasons). though so far, it has not happen! Thankfully, Celestia is meant to be an all around goddess of pure goodness. But, let's all remember that this show was meant for little girls, so ALCOURSE she's gonna become princess! no girl will be happy being adviser arch-mage unless she's into Dunguins and Dragons! but yes, it was not expected, and some will say it was not the best way to end season 3. Well, that's they're opinion. But still, like how the season was kicked off, it did felt half-done and was intended to be better then this. all in all, it still not bad.... but it is flawed, i am sure as hell NOT gonna deny that! so let's have a look at, "Magical Mystery Cure", or will most likely be forever nick-named, "The Alicorn Twilight Episode.". At least, how i will for now on named this.
we jumped right in ponyville with.... Musical ambence? what the? oh boy.... I think we're about to come across the biggest flaw in this episode..... It's a musical. Yeah, it may as well be Broudway's "Purple Allcorn" the musical. now, i have no problem with musicals, but only if they work. Looking at you, "High shcool Musical" francise, you incredable ass ugly pimple to Disney's name!
But at least the songs in this episode are fun, if though, surreal. take the very first one for exsample! Believe or not, Twilight went Pinkie Pie on us! Well, in terms of bursting out into song on us! and i thought Disney princesses have a bad habit of breaking into song on us! in some point of the song, she interupts two rich folk's meal, and they don't seem to mind, in fact, they freaking like it! she then does..... The mexican hat dance?
Ok, i see why this episode would lose some favors in some bronies, i mean, Twilight is normally calm and refine, and here she is, doing the mexican dance with a waiter i swear is suppose to do his job! but hey, it's a cartoon, you get away with crazy stuff without long term consinquinces, frankly.

Twilight asks Rarity what the fuck is she doing with Rainbow Dash's ability, and she replies she ALWAYS had it! the fuck?! Appearently, Cutie marks also affects your memory, and if you switch them around, they screw up your memories!
Rarity, i might add, is doing a very crappy job here! Now i know why Unicorns don't do weather duty.

Twilight went to seek out Rainbow Dash who now has- FLUTTERSHY'S CUTIEMARK?!

And she's not handling those Animals very well. Damn! talk about Topsy turvy! and it gets worse! as explained in another song, Fluttershy has Pinkie pie's cutie mark, who she has Applejack's, and she ends up with Rariy's, and back to her with Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. and Twilight avoided being dragged into this mess, how? well, because, frankly, she may have unintendingly be respondsable for it. she was given a book of Starswirl's book and looked at an unfinished spell and BOOM! Our plot has happened! Wow, first the uncharacterstic breaking into song thing, now basicly screwing over your own friends? wow, Twilight, your careful nearly 3 seasons of practice is fucked! Anyway, Twilight alcourse feels guilty for screwing over ponyville by screwing over her friends, and i don't blame her, she basicly (if though not intentionaly) screwed over the town! we can tell she's upset because.... She sings about it. Like we don't already know this is a musical! admitingly, she sings awesomely. the songs may be big-lipped alligater moments-
-But at least they sound good.
Anyway, after Spike snaps her out of it, Twilight now goes forth to fix everything, as she starts with fluttershy, who she gets her to help Rainbow dash, who gets Rainbow (and a song is going on in the midst of this) to help rarity, who gets her to help Applejack, who get Applejack to save the farm from major disarray, and they get Pinkie to make eveyone happy again! and finally, they fixed the spell, and Twilight gets zapped into a strange space dimention.

Celestia is here too, and she tells her she finally reached in desteny... in song....

Sorry for flipping out like that, but, this is incredable! i'm not a full on Celestia fan, but, it's great to see her to actselly sing! he makes mostly brief or side-character appearences, and now, she actselly sings! about time! after the song, Twilight is teliported back, as an Alicorn. and yeah, to cut this short, there's a big celebration, and it ends with a rephrase of the song from before, and that's about it.
Well, that's it. It's not a perfect way to finish off season 3, but it is a good, and surreal way to finish it off. that means season 4 is gonna be alot differnet with Twilight an Alicorn now. It may turn away some bronies, but you know what, that's fine with them. Maybe season 4 may won them back. it's hard to say. only time will tell on how the rest of the series will fare. and look on the bright side, at least it's a better love story then the Twilight saga....
and it's at least more bareable then........
you get what i'm trying to say. the episode was not perfect, but at least it's not the Twilight sage or, basicly the most dissapointing sonic game ever, and i don't even play that much sonic games. I'm Storiesatrandom, i remember it, so you don't have to.
well ive heared tell some say that this is only the first part of a multipart episode, wehter its true or not is up to hasbro when they make the next season. and secondly, they really should of done a better job at containing the leaks , that way bronies and people wouldnt know twilights and alicorn till it actually happened. me personallyi was kinda expecting it thnx to some people on youtube and fimfiction commenting on stories, saying oh twilights going to be an alicorn, wohoo. anyway i degress it was a fairly decent episode, but in my opinion. WTF HASBRO ARE YOU THINKING, THIS PLOT DEVICE SHOULD OF BEEN USED AS A SERIES ENDER NOT A SEASON FINALE EPISODE, I MEAN COME ON WHAT WERE YOU THINKING. anywho i agree with your comments 100 percent when describing how this ep played out, especially the SINGING CELESTIA, FTW. anywho now for the fun part of writers changing around some of thier stories if they have to, to allow for the new alicorn twilight event. yeah me, and others like us.

838291 thanks. this is kinda like an ender for the series rather then a season ender. Again, the show was meant for little girls, so, in some way, it was gonna happen. I'm not sure if Hasbro would turn down their oppertunity for a toy deal so easily to win back the favor of fans that were not even intentional to have in the first place. in such, I'm doubtful the Twilight we know is going to come back, but at the same time, i might be surprised in some way. Like i said, we know not what the future holds, Would Twilight stay an Alicorn, how will this effect her social life, would she even realise that she can't see her friends anymore (i am hopeful that they're will be visits), and if Celestia has plans to make them Alicorns too? (doubtful on that last part, cause that would really raise eyebrows even more then what this episode alone has done.).
