Sneak peek! 'A rich man with a new life'.

After getting back to the tree house, we stopped outside the door, Pinkie still silent, not bouncing, not anything. Twilight knocked on the door, having forgotten her key today, and Spike opened the door. Twilight walked in, and right as I was starting to walk in, I felt a hoof on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw it was Pinkie.

“Could I talk to you for a minute?” She said. Twilight had stopped after walking in the door, looking at me.

“I’ll be inside in a minute, Twilight.” I said, and then shut the door. Now, it was just me and Pinkie, standing under Twilight’s porch light in the night. She looked down at the ground, and then looked up at me with big blue eyes.

“I need to tell you something, but I’m not sure how to say it.” She said slowly, kicking her hoof at the ground.

“What is it, Pinkie?”

“I… I…” She stopped then looked at the ground. I lifted her head up with my hoof.

“You can tell me.” I said. She smiled, then took a deep breath.
