The Timeline of Starting Over. · 8:00am Feb 1st, 2013
The timeline for Starting Over is altered so it is less confusing on why some elements of the story are in Starting Over, but shouldn't be there. Starting Over is set in a time between When Twilight arrives in Ponyville and The Summer Sun Celebration. This means I shouldn't be able to use anything beyond when Twilight arrives. However, the timeline is altered to fit this. I basically kept Twilights Arrival day set to what it was, but I moved the Summer Sun Celebration to a different date. Hey, when you write a fanfic you control the universe it lives in. This means that I can use some elements based after Twilights Arrival and Nightmare Moons defeat by the Mane 6. For example;
I can use the Cutie Mark Crusaders if I wanted to,
I could write a chapter about Dash getting Tank,
I can bring Gilda in (Like I'd want to),
I can have Trixie roll into town,
I can use the Parasprites,
I can bring the Diamond Dogs in,
I can use Zecora,
The Wonderbolts can be involved,
and, as I have already, can use the Sonic Rainboom in my story.
But anything beyond Discord being free is untouchable. I can use him in Spectra's mind because he is still trapped in stone even before he was known to the Mane 6. Just because the Mane 6 don't know about him yet does not mean he doesn't exist. I hope this clears any confusion, and I also hope you enjoy Starting Over.
I like the idea of discord trying to corrupt Spectra in a chapter. It would introduce new problems, and might give you some ideas of an ending. I never thought about putting that in a story, good idea sir.
