    Hidden cancers are real dangers

For the few of you that knew beforehand, my father died almost two years ago from colon cancer. Nobody had any clue until it was far too late. He was taken from us in the blink of an eye, and we're still recovering from his passing.

I have no idea why, but I did it

I created a series of graphs that show the relationship between the total word count and the average chapter lengths on the longest stories on this site (FimFiction) as well as the distributions of the chapters in some of those top stories...

Finally have my public ideas page

For as many of you know, I have not been writing any stories for the longest time... I do understand your desire for more content and concern for my absence, but for those of you who do not know of the reason for my hiatus, please look at my previous blog post: "Should I keep my promise?"

    A thought about presenting ideas

I have been noticing a fair number of threads, in the groups I'm part of, that have requests for story ideas, which got me thinking about a better way to express the ideas to the public:

    A public apology

I am sorry for the prank that I have pulled, it was, as most would say, in bad taste. I had been talking with a few of my friends who agreed that it would be funny if someone had posted a chapter with over a million words on it, and clarified that it should be done on a "complete" story, so more people would not be pissed. I was willing to participate, I have been waiting to post or even work on

Should I keep my promise? · 8:47am Jan 30th, 2013

Now, before I get people saying that all promises should be kept, just lay back and listen for a moment

Now, first of all, you all know that I am a writer of a fair number of stories here on this site, most about my favorite pony (Spike) and his romantic affairs... and some of you will know, or have at least noticed, that I have stopped writing for a while now.

I had made a promise to stop writing in order to help encourage me into getting a job, to be able to write again when I have gotten one in this down economy. However, it has been (from what I can recall) about four months and I have been legitimately searching, job-shadowing, and interning, all with promise of a job in the relatively near future (relative to a span of years) and I have kept to my promise and refrain writing more than the basic ideas for new writings (of which I have at least 20 atm)

However, a new predicament has come to pass, the untimely death of my computer's hard-drive... For those of you who have not read my blog about my computer's death, essentially my computer has come to the point where it is refusing to start-up and I have taken it to a repair shop. It was found that the hard-drive has overheated and resulted in what he assumes is approximately 55-60% of my data to be completely destroyed... of which has been transferred to a new hard-drive and installed in the old computer (nothing else he saw was wrong with it) which is currently getting the software installed for the operation of the new hard-drive, and is expected to be ready for me to pick up tomorrow

and so I am stuck between the thoughts of using this moment of celebration to do what I love to do (when I am good at it) and disappointing myself for not achieving my goal of getting a job and aid in supplying income for my household, rather than intern for a pediatric hospital, which is my current status

and thank you for reading this, as well as any of my work, I hope you have a wonderful day ahead
