Ugh... Alright, the next chapter will be here tomorrow. It would've been here later tonight, but this whole release about Alicorn Twilight thing becoming canon just totally killed my writing mojo for the day. I'm trying to be as optimistic as I can about the situation though.
I think she's going to turn back into a regular unicorn after being a princess for a while. She won't be able to spend as much time with her friends and she'd be all sad. Meanwhile, her friends will also be sad because they wont be able to see her as much anymore either. I think Twilight will stay as a princess for a little bit because her friends are supporting her in her decision, and her friends wont tell her that they really miss her because they don't want her to think that they're not being good friends.
Eventually, after a period of time of closet depression, Twilight will eventually tell Celestia that being a princess isn't what she really wanted after all and she'll go back to Ponyville with her friends. The lesson will go something like this:
"Dear Princess Celestia,
Sometimes there are things that you really want in life, and somepony might do anything in order to get it because they think it will be better than what they have now. But once they finally get it, they realize that it isn't what they really wanted after all. What they really wanted was inside them all along. The grass may always seem greener on the other side, but more often than not, the grass is much greener on the side you're on already.
I thought that being a princess meant that I would get to do everything I wanted. When in all actuality, it became the thing I didn't want. I had to spend so much time away from my friends who I cherished more than anyone. And I don't want anything that means I cant spend time with them. I thank you for this opportunity, but with all due respect, I must resign my position as princess.

Twilight Sparkle."
Or something to that affect. Its possible, right?
Anyway, the chapter should be up tomorrow. If not, it will definitely be up on Thursday.
Actually, the whole thing happens because of a spell Twilight does, that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies of her friends. For some reason, it makes her an alicorn and it ruins the rest of the Mane Six specialties, and by extension their lives, as you can see in this pictures. So, in the end, she will have to revert everything back to normal, no matter how much she likes to be a princess, because she likes her friends more. The normal MLP formula, so nothing to worry about

771170... And in order to change everything and everyone back to the way they were, she's going to need to write her own spells, but she won't be able to write them alone. She'll need help from the father of the amniomprphic spell, AKA Starswirl the Bearded, AKA Discord in order to change herself and her friends back to normal. That's why they made Discord a good guy so he could help Twilight with this problem and eventually change her back to her normal unicorn self.
