Here is what I spent the majority of last night working on...
The cover for the story!
As much as I hate to admit it, this is one of my favorite movies. All the rest of Shyamalan's stuff sucks, but I really like this one.
If you hated the movie, I dont blame you. This one has ponies it though, and it should tug at your heartstrings a bit. I don't mean to sound boastful, but I'm gonna be trying my best to do it better than Shyamalan. Not that it will be difficult...
I'm still royally PO'ed about The Last Airbender...
The first two chapters are finished. I just need to go through them and correct grammar, spelling, other errors, etc. I will probably upload the first chapter either tonight, or tomorrow some time.
What do you guys think of the cover? Does it pique your curiosity? Was I too mean? Was I not mean enough?
Ah, interesting idea. My thoughts about this story idea are very mixed.
On the one hand, its a story by you so I'm going to give it a look by default. "My Little Arkham" is still among my top 10 all time favorite fan-fictions!
I've never seen "Signs", I've learned quite a bit about from all of the flaws that critics have picked from it. And based off of what they said, I'm likely not going to be checking it out.
Your thoughts about M. Night Shyamalan sound pretty reasonable to me. Of his films I've only seen "The Sixth Sense" (which I did like). Based off of criotics and people I know, apart from that film, "Unbreakable", and some say "Signs", the filmography of Mr. Shyamalan is best not seen. And you "message" to him was very nice.
Nice cover, by the way! Is the male pony a Mel Gibson-replacement?

You're far too kind, my friend.
I can understand you not wanting to check out the actual movie. In my personal opinion, I really enjoyed it. I want to say its one of the scariest pg-13 movies out there. I completely understand your logic behind it, however. The Sixth Sense was also very good, but the rest of his movies are just terrible. I never saw Unbreakable, though. If you do check the movie out eventually, I really hope you like it.
The male pony is Braeburn. Applejack is the "Mel Gibson" in this story, while he is the immediate secondary character.

That is true. Though I've never seen it I've heard nothing but horrible things about movies like "Devil" (in which the very title of the movie is a spoiler) and "The Last Airbender".
That makes sense. Just please make sure Applejack doesn't get drunk and say anything against the Jews of Equestira, ok?

Toplel Can do.
