I have no delusions; I know I have only a small group of people who have favorited my stories, but I hope that this message might just ease even a tiny bit of the (SPOILER) Alicorn Twilight Controversy.
So what if she becomes an Alicorn? The people making her an Alicorn have made a show called 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' about colorful cartoon ponies so well that it has gathered a fanbase of tens of thousands of adult men and women who have decided that it is worth the ridicule, which as we all know is in no short supply. If it were up to us, imagine how terrible the show would be. WE are not responsible enough to dictate to them what should or shouldn't happen in this show, because if we were it would be awful. The occaisonal wink at us older viewers does not mean we are the Kings and Queens of ponies; we are the fans, and we're fans because the makers are really good at their jobs.
So, let's all sit back, relax, and let Studio B and the Hub keep making the show we all know and love?
