Hello there!
I just noticed that the view count in Viva Las Pegasus reached 1000 views, so I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to you guys. I know it's not a big milestone, but it's a place to begin with. Your support means much to me!
As a small gift, I am going to emulate my colleague Delvius and introduce the main characters' themes:
- Farsight: Hymn, by Ultravox. I think that the lyrics fit Farsight's personality like tailor-made. "Give me all that you showed me; the power, the glory; til my kingdom come...". And if having an 80s song in a FoE context makes you sore, I have another choice: The Soviet Anthem, sung by the Red Army Choir. Every single note of that anthem transmits power to me.
- Nadyr: A Fifth of Beethoven, by Walter Murphy. Again, a post 50s song, but I can easily picture Nadyr strutting to this song in all his utter badassness.
- Desert Rose: Sad Eyes, by Bruce Springsteen. Both the lyrics and the melody transmit the melancholy of a character like Rose, a wasteland-born filly with a burden.
- Lavender: Bolero, by Ravel. The drumbeat of this piece is hypnotic and almost driving to insanity.
