Shipping Opinions Survey

Alright guys, so I recently became aware of a survey that was put up (I think by bookplayer) to see the Shipping community's take on ship pairings and their preferences. I went ahead and filled out mine and I was actually enlightened a little as to my own preferences in the answers I picked.

I like whoever devised this survey. They're a cunning person... like asking whether you approve or disapprove of established couples being shipped, just to make sure you're playing attention. I wish there was a way to know what will come of it later.

I wonder what influenced the author's choice of what ships were included... Obviously, there's no way to test every last ship possibly available so some discrimination was required. So I wonder how they made their selections.

Yeah. I actually got a little confused at a few points what to answer. Like at part 2 in the beginning.

How important are the following to your enjoyment of a ship?

How important are the following to your dislike of a ship?

And asking the question: "The quality of one or more particular fanwork(s)"

And the answer choices: Very important, Important, Slightly important, Does not matter.

These confused me a bit as to what they were asking. I figured they were asking if other stories affected my enjoyment or dislike of a ship, so I said it "Does not matter". Because I figure, just because a fanwork is bad, doesn't mean the ship is :/

735138 True 'nuff. I should have taken a visual record of how I filled the survey out because there was a dizzying array of information that was asked for and I now wish I remembered it all. I do remember giving enthusiastic approval to Fluttershy/Trixie, Twilight/Trixie, Luna/Twilight, Celestia/Chrysalis, and Cadance/Chrysalis. I have no explanation for the last two other than my headcanon of Chrysalis makes her so uber snuggly and cool; I blame Anonymous Pegasus who possesses weapons-grade changeling d'aww, and Wanderer D who wields his changeling d'aww with ninja cyborg samurai mod powers of awesome.

And I think Cadance falling for Chrysalis could be hilarious if done right.
