I'm about to ragequit and call "Life as She Knew It" off. I have written the same 5 paragraphs five times, I save it, have to leave, come back later, open it, and..... its gone. So I repeat the process. Someone help me figure out what the fuck is wrong before I ragequit .

Writers block is a bitch. but you can't rush creativity. Go away and come back tomorrow. Go for a walk or something. Enjoy a treat from starbucks or something. always helps me.

And as for the saving problem,
Try saving the file as a new name. Click Save As and change the title.
I don't know why the bug occurs, it just does sometimes.

If that doesn't work copy and paste the whole thing into a new document and save that.

Write it in txt instead or word document instead

Or you could simply use Google docs instead. It automatically saves your work as you type, so it's not a hassle. I recently made the change to Google docs and it is a life saver. Oh yeah, and it makes it easier for your editors/pre-readers if you have any because all you have to do is send them te link tothe doc and they don't even have to download the entire file or anything complicated like that.

Like Spalding said, try Gdocs. It is without a doubt one of the best ways to write with other people, through the interwebs that is.
