Trixie returns and was reformed (more or less).
Then Discord has returned and has been reformed.

The spirit of ultimate chaos, able to become good? That's the magic of friendship.

What if the big plan of the writers is to bring back some of the fans favourite villains and try and reform them? then they can be reoccurring characters without predictable evil villain stuff.

There is the potential for king sombra to come back. And Chrysalis and the changelings.

Sombra, I'm not sure could be turned to good. But Chrysalis - there is potential there.

I wouldn't mind seeing some villains return. I wouldn't even mind the group trying to turn them to good. Because its a tradition of TV series' that when a big villain is taken out something bigger and badder takes their place.
Just try and imagine what could be bigger and badder than Discord, or the giant smoke pony Sombra!!!
