Well, that Me 163 Komet-related story hasn't been published, as I'm sure you've noticed. This is because when an aircraft becomes involved in one of my fanfics, it needs to be my favorite. Unfortunately, the Komet isn't my favorite aircraft (It's still up there, though). My current aircraft are a small array of WWI fighters, like the Airco Dh.2 and Fokker Eindecker. That being said, that has spawned a pair of ideas.
The first spawned from a look at Manfred Von Richthofen's kill list. Every pilot was named except kill 69. In this fanfic, an American S.E.5a pilot takes on the Baron. Unfortunately, he becomes his 69th kill. Given the nature of this site, he succumbs to his wounds, but wakes up in Equestria, specifically Canterlot. Long story short, it's the eve of that fateful Summer Sun Celebration, and Celestia asks the pilot to keep an eye on her student in Ponyville.
The second came about from an issue I've found when I get bored and ponyfy planes: rear gunners. One of my favorite WWI fighters is the Bristol F.2b, a two seater. I decided the only good way to handle the rear gunner is the most ridiculous looking way: stick a pony with a machine gun on top of the pegasus. the end result, two ponies armed with 3 Lewis guns, two bomb-racks, and carrying all of the equipment they would need, would look just plain hilarious. the story is that a section of land in Equestria has declared themselves "The New Lunar republic" and Princess Luna their leader. Luna and Celestia respond by declaring war (If your wondering why Luna isn't in her namesake republic, it's because she's just fine with Equestria and can't imagine fighting a war against her sister.) Anyway, two ponies decide to make a name for themselves during the war, fling in the manner I described.
I have no idea how long it would take for either of these to come to fruition, but the end results will be worth it (Hopefully).
I still think that the only way that it would work is if the bottom pony is Snowflake

Actually, I have them as close friends. Brisk Wind is used to flying with her on his back.
And I honestly prefer Horsepower or Roid Rage for him, only because i know who it is with that name.
