So, at this point, the first chapter of E4E has been out for a couple days. I plan to have chapter two out before "Keep Calm and Flutter On," because impossible goals are the best kind. Before that, though, I wanted to go into a bit of my overall plan for the story. Just as SoaP was an exploration of the characters through Twilight's interactions with them, E4E will be my tool for developing the mythology and setting of Equestria.
Specifically, I want to go into detail about magic in MLP. How it works, what its limits are, and what happens when ponies try to break the rules. Hence, Twilight is the main character again, with Trixie as the deuteragonist. I also wanted to apply a more traditional story structure in my writing, because it's something I'm thoroughly unfamiliar with.
I don't know how many chapters it'll end up being at this point, though I imagine that subsequent chapters will be longer than the first. The chapter titles will follow a theme, which some of my more astute readers (by which I mean those who share my particular interests) may have already picked up on.
