Bad news, peeps. · 8:55pm Jan 9th, 2013
Well, writing is going to be very slow. Story update times will be doubled while chapter sizes will be halved. Why? Well, my Dad found out I was using my computer when I wasn't supposed to (While ironically making his birthday present), so he stomped on it until the hard-drive cracked in half. There goes all of my hard work. So, I'll have to sneak in and use other computers (like now) to type. Sorry, fellas.
That's destruction of property. He has almost no jurisdiction as a parent to do that. Yes, I think you should let him know this is actually a criminal offence and you could theoretically get him in trouble with the law for Injury to property. The only problem is that he IS your parent and I'm not entirely sure how the law falls on that as a punishment for you breaking family rules. The legally green area thing to do would be to just leave your work saved and simply take the computer where he can monitor it, or just lock it up for a while. I don't like the way your parents act. At all.

My father actually isn't a bad person (although I have a rocky relationship with my mom), he just got angry. And he did have a right to do that, as I had technically stolen it back from his confiscation. I don't really mind, as that thing was a piece of crap. Thanks for the semi-concern, though! Though, really, you just care about my stuff...
