So, just noticed the 2nd Warhammer themed Fanfic on the site, so I'd better get a move on with mine before I'm left behind. Got the first chapter done, but I want to finish the next chapter before I consider publishing it. The first two chapters will have nothing to do with ponies, which is why I'm hesitant, but the second chapter will have at least set up the context that will set the path from then on once the Guardsmen arrive on Equestria.
Yeah that's right, I said Guardsmen. One of the pet peeves I have, especially with the tabletop game, is that everything revolves around the Space Marines. Everyone's first army were the ultra smurfs >:( Not me, my first army was the Tau, then I grew attracted to the Imperial Guard, once I got the big 40k rule book. Used to read that thing all the time in High School and I thought Commissars were the most grim dark badasses ever and I loved the Gaunt's Ghosts series.
So with my fanfic, I'm going to limit myself to no more than a platoon if even that just so it doesn't become so OP. Don't worry, their not here to conquer, that's for someone else to do...
