Sadly, knighty's new changes disable the ability to use external emotes entirely. Now instead of something fun, they're entirely an eyesore. The Emote Extender is hereby canceled until knighty changes the image functionality back, which seems to be unlikely to happen (or if he adds exceptions to the emote urls, which is even less likely to happen). Shame, too. I had a rather large update planned for right after Christmas with a whole boatload of new features.
Back to writing other software, I suppose.
EDIT: I spoke too soon. Emotes still seem to work just fine in forum topics (and other pages?). I shall continue to update this script, but only on the pages in which regular images still function.
Edit 2: While I could change up the formatting on the site with the script to display the emotes without "spoilers", I will not, for two reasons:
1. I wrote the script as a way for everyone to see the emotes, regardless of whether or not they had the script installed.
2. The emotes would basically be spam for everyone else now. I won't be an enabler. :P
See this.
Um... okay. Unfortunately, I had been too lazy to download it in the first place. Plus, I am not on my laptop, and my father's computer is the slowest thing in the world. But I liked them, so meh...

I've already talked to portal about it (seeing as we're combining scripts so they're compatible with each other), and I won't be using that particular part of it. Every emote creates an entire spoiler bar for those without the script, which I liken to spam. I won't be responsible for that.
