    Torture Ideas for story plots.

Why? Because sometimes you need to do so, or perhaps you have an OC who happens to be into the whole torture scene/is apart of an organization that occasionally needs to use harsh methods to extract information from otherwise "difficult" informants. (Yes I'm aware that was a run-on sentence. Sue me if you dare). Anyhow, allow my mystical knowledge to help with ideas for torture that can

Ponies and Periods (Men Who are Squeamish This is Your Warning Now)

Okay so that's out of the way. You're probably wondering about that title. Well on one end I was watching the original MLP movie the other night with my best guy friend and of course this being my "blessed" time of the month, he wisely came bearing my "please don't murder me" package he brings me every 3 or so months (disclosure: mine aren't regular because of birth control) and sat with me while

Torture Ideas for story plots. · 11:53pm May 25th

Anyhow, allow my mystical knowledge to help with ideas for torture that can easily be adapted for storytelling purposes (at least 2 of these will be used by myself in an upcoming story/story update):

  • Waterboarding....but use dairy products (i.e. Chocolate Milk, Melted Ice Cream, Hot Butter).
  • Waterboarding...but use scalding hot saltwater (for extra effectiveness, feel free to cut the victim a few times before doing so).
  • Playing this video on a loop until the victim cracks:

  • Electric cattle prods and barb wired to a metal chair (don't go too crazy or else you'll kill the informant).
  • Good ol' fashioned battery. I recommend brass knuckles/talon grips/hoof rings or a simple nail embedded wooden bat!
  • Reading the bible in it's entirety from the table of contents to the maps at the end and the final page (adapt this for any religious text applicable for your story's history).
  • Read in a slow, monotone voice, the world's biggest dictionary.
  • Cat-o'-nine-tails with sharp spikes, lemon juice, salt , vinegar and a smoke for after (for your torturer character of course). Go ham on the informant.
  • Ice bath/Ice chamber for days if need be.
  • Inescapable Escape room (this is one of the ones I'll be using)
  • Leave Pinkie Pie with the victim/informant for a little while (I should specify in using her in her crazy form. Think Cupcakes but without the murder and cannibalism).
  • Flamethrower (or utilizing a helpful phoenix). Fire torture is a popular one.
  • Pressing (this had been used in history as a death sentence. In fact, the only recorded time it was legally used in the United States was back in the days of the Salem witch trials. Gilles Corey was pressed to death for failure to present a informant on a "witch". Personally I think he made it up and didn't want to be hung for lying to the courts).
  • Chained to a wall for an unspecified amount of time.
  • Starvation.
  • Dehydration.
  • Branding with a harsh iron rod and rubbing margarita salt and vinegar into it.
  • Being used as wild animal bait.
  • Chopping off a digit or limb one at at time and agonizingly slow.
  • Being sent to the Rainbow Factory or at least the threat.
  • Transfiguration into a horrible mutation anomaly (think along the lines of what little Anthony Freemont did to his neighbor in the iconic The Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life" [Seasom 3, episode 8]).
  • Play this video on a loop:

  • Alternative to the above one; Play this song on a loop:

  • Brutally kill the informants' family/loved ones and record it. Force them to watch the carnage.
  • Attack dogs.

These are just some I thought of off the top of my head. Feel free to use any of them (just make sure I'm credited in some small way for inspiration if you do decide on using these).

Have fun and happy torturing!
