Sometimes I get ideas for a story.

Then I remember I would have to write them and the idea is gone

I hate it whenever I think of something interesting (not necessarily a story idea) and forget to act upon it, and then lose it forever.

Huh, that's quite similar with drawings. I have a ton of ideas, a whole list of them, I think I can count at least 15 ideas right now, there were 30+ before, had to delete a few of them, because I later realized it would be quite impossible to draw a few of them. Stories are a bit worse in that way, I think. I once had a perfect story to write, but by the time I wrote first chapter, it went completely off the rails, unhinged. You writers have it worse, I sincerely wish you courage and patience in finishing your stories
