It happened... (IMPORTANT! FOR STORIES UPDATES!) · 5:32am April 15th
On Thursday of last week, I was officially terminated from my job at IT, which is ironic seeing how I was fired but not fired the previous Thursday.
I have a few ideas why I wasn't but I can't be certain.
However the new hire wasn't all that bad at first, but after the first few days with him, it was clear that I was to be termed.
My dad and I knew it was coming, h3ll even my grandmother and grandfather knew, my hairstylist knew, and even my ex-coworker/family friend knew.
But the way it happened...
Note I'm not telling anything that violates my contract (Not like it matters) but unlike my boss who is probably releasing information to everyone he knows.
However, the way he fired me had to be the most uncalled-for way possible, so let me paint you all the picture. I was told to sit down so we could talk, but now the new guy was standing up while I was sitting which if you don't know. If someone is standing over someone who is sitting they are at a major disadvantage than the one sitting. Not to mention that the new hire is a large man who most likely deadlifts in his free time, he's bulky and all that. I'm not the bulky guy, yes I've been working out but not like this guy.
Next to that was my boss who was wearing his WINTER coat in major Texas heat, look I wear a raincoat because of the fact I've had to work with installations and material that I don't like getting on my skin (not to mention my eyes). But what I think he forgets is the fact I lived with police officers my entire life since my father and all my uncles (dad's side) are blue and I tend to pick up on things while being very perceptive.
My boss had his gun ready if I were to do anything.
I don't know if I should be insulted or faltered in all honestly, but I wasn't going to give him any reason. I simply sat down my right leg resting on my left knee and sat casually while he began to say how I messed up. The new hire sat down about halfway through while joining in on the whole 'gross misconduct' I commented. This guy and my boss spent the next 15 minutes explaining to me what I did 'wrong' even though what they were spitting was nothing but criticizing, even though I did exactly what they wanted me too.
Best of all they had me do something I never did and expected me to get it done in less than an hour.
I don't know about you guys but drilling through concrete on a ladder leaning against a wall attempting to feed wire through a giant blind spot AND hook it up to the main system isn't that easy, especially since I was doing this all by myself.
In the end I think he was upset I wasn't getting mad or anything since I saw this coming and also he might try to lie about what went down (even though I recorded the whole thing just in case).
Most importantly which this involves my updates and... really everything in my house.
My WiFi will be down until I get a new router system because the router was a company lend and due to me no longer having a position I will be returning it tomorrow/Monday of this week.
Which sucks because I had plans for writing and gaming but sh!t happens guys.
I'll still have access to the internet via my phone but it will be limited, I can write... in a way however I don't think I'll be able to post anything until after a new router set up and wifi link.
Plus we are going to be seeing a lawyer which there is that.
Hopefully this forced Hiatus wouldn't be long, dad can't really play his game without WiFi too.
