Sorry. I know I've kept the lot of you waiting for quite a while back in Chapter 8, and I'm not going to do the same now. I'm terribly busy, but I'm still writing, and with SocraticBrony's help (Yeah, I know, I think he's done more for DA than I have!) I believe I've found a way to satisfy the story by keeping the romance you and I and everybody pretty much loved and wanted to maintain (And was afraid to lose!) and a way to develop Spike as a more mature dragon, and his way of being! So... I just wanted to say, that yeah, it'll still be a while, but just know that I haven't abandoned you! I'll NEVER abandon you!
On a totally unrelated note, I'm also writing a bit of an HiE, really just as a side project. I'm not letting that take priority over DA of course, but I've always kinda wanted to do that... It's a self insert, but I haven't gotten very far yet, and frankly, it's not very good... But just thought I'd let you guys know! BTW, it's original, and in no way a Gary Stu kind of story, but a totally original take on the HiE genre. Of course, someone with a bit more refined prose would do my idea more justice, but hey, I'll do my best. I probably won't publish it though, so I'm just letting you know that yeah, even I dream of going to Equestria!
PS - Saw the latest episode today! I LOVE AJ, and I liked the episode, but again, I kinda hoped that AJ would get more attention, not just in this episode, but overall in the show. I saw a video review on her character that explained that she really didn't have as many flaws to overcome as the other ponies, so that's really why she doesn't often get her own episode. Nevertheless, she's still BEST PONY. Right alongside Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Doctor Whooves. And Derpy. And Gummy. Gummy is best alligator. You'd be surprised how hard it is to actually get to be best alligator.
Sincerely,

PPS - Got a new Border Collie puppy today, named him Oreo, and I'm so happy!!!
Now, don't forget, "Do this," I said.
"Not this." I said.
