If its already an AU where everything's 21st century then why not make a tweak so he is already hatched and maybe close to the Mane 6's ages so he is a character?
Unfortunately I don't really know anyone who can be a co-writer/editor. Or specifically has the time to I mean.

Cause well I think it could up mess with a few things. As for the car it’s the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupé and if you read the MLP IDW 2022 Comic issue 11 and 12 Neigh Anything getting a glimpse of what Shining’s life was like back before he was a full grown adult and married Cadence not to mention become Captain of the Royal Guard he alongside Buck Withers get into a late night street race at a underground street racing event in the mountains similar to the race between Nolo and Tork in Ignition and a Duel event race from NFSHP2010 and its Remastered version where more of the characters will appear with their own cars. Buck’s car is going to be a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6).

Spike looks at Scoots and noticed her new appearance after the medical procedure to turn her into a hybrid form.
As he looked at her Spike said to the former pegasus, “Scootaloo. Wow you look different.”
“Yeah you too. I still can’t believe that surgery actually worked on us. Even though I’m not a normal pegasus anymore I still feel like myself.”, replied Scootaloo as she was getting used to her new appearance and capabilities that her new form had.
