Sonic rested over a bed in Zephyr Heights, listening to some music and trying to fall asleep.
Soon enough, though, the entire room started to illuminate with a bright blue color, until a portal started to slowly open above Sonic. This portal seemed to be orange, as well as shaped like a heptagon.
Sonic!
Sonic opened his eyes to notice the portal, then his eyes widened when he saw Alicorn Sunset Shimmer at the other side.
Wanna get out of here?
Whoa! Sunset?!
Now, Sonic's falling through some kind of tunnel as he squirms his eyes while traveling through at sonic speed.
Hold on!
A Twilight variant came flying off another heptagon-shaped portal and launched several purple strings ahead.
There's an elite society with all the best Mobians and Equestrians from the multiverse in it?!
A Sonic with just three quills in a row and a red guitar jumped ahead while making the guitar work.
A pink pegasus with light blue hair, dark blue eyes, and two light blue lightning bolts as her Cutie Mark was flying at top speed through the sky.
Say! Who are the new guys?
Now, Sonic and Sunny were standing along Sunset in a room full of Mobians and Equestrians from all across the multiverse.
This is unbelievable!
You guys know this is just the lobby, right?

From an heptagon-shaped portal, a new Sonic variant showed up. This Sonic had a bit more messier quills, golden bands adjusting his gloves, white boots with golden stripes, a scar over his left eye, an eyepatch covering his left eye, and a trench coat.
Future Sonic the Hedgehog! FS, for short.
Future Sonic, a.k.a. FS, threw a watch like the one he had on his left wrist to Sunset, who stared at it confused.
The whole thing was his idea!
In the same place with all the Mobians and Equestrians from across the multiverse, Sonic and Sunny followed Sunset, a Twilight variant and another Sonic variant.
What do we gotta do to join this little team?
Now, Sonic, Sunset and Sunny were in front of a platform where FS stood, giving his back to the rest.
You two can never be part of this...
Sunset cringed at the comment, while Sonic and Sunny stared confused at each other, then back at FS.
Don't get me even started on Shadow the Hedgehog and that stupid asshole kid from Universe 151222!
Come on, go easy on the kids!
To the sound of this familiar voice, Sunset smirked and rolled her eyes, while Sonic and Sunny slowly smiled and looked at each other for a moment, before the three of them turned around.
There, they found Boom Sonic with a pink bathrobe and a kangaroo for babies on his chest, walking over the ceiling thanks to the anti-gravity mode of his new shoes.
They had terrible experience with the multiverse!
Boom Sonic!/Sonic 2?!
Sonic, Sunny!
The three of them shared a quick but tight hug.
Suddenly, a pink blur passed by at top speed and started to boot all over the place, which confused Sonic and Sunny, but Boom panicked.
AURORA!

As the exchange happened, FS was rubbing his eyes and walking back and forth while muttering words no one could hear, before he finally looked ahead with a frown.
I'll take it from here.
Suddenly, the entire environment disappeared, and soon, the whole place turned dark, except for a tiny little light that slowly descended towards the ground, which showed that only the Mobians and Equestrians in the room remained.
THIS YEAR
Sonic was running away as he traveled through Zephyr Heights.
Guys... Being a hero always demands a sacrifice.
We see Sunset Shimmer before she became an Alicorn, crying at the realization all her friends are long gone.
We see Sonic running through Manehattan as he saves some ponies from getting crushed by falling rubble from buildings getting suddenly destroyed.
You have a choice between saving one person...
Now, we see a Dr. Hooves variant pointing a plasma gun with a conflicted look.
...and saving every world!
We see FS running with anger towards Sonic, as if he were a predator chasing its prey.
Then we get a glance at Opaline as she looks around the realm that accesses every universe.
Finally, Sonic opened his eyes and breathed heavily, and at his side, Sunny was breathing heavily as well, while her Alicorn form dissipated.
...We have to go home...
I can't do that.
We can do both!
Now, we see Sonic running through a building while he heads to Sunset's rescue since she's falling.

Sunset looked ashamed as she saw the exchange happen. Meanwhile, Twilight behind her frowned slightly.
Then, we see Sonic holding his palms in front as he looks concerned, before he turns around and runs away.
This is followed by FS frowning in anger and chasing after Sonic.
You can't run forever, kid!
In her universe, Sunset stared at the Unity Crystals with sadness.
I can't lose one more friend...
Over a train in movement, FS held Sonic against it, while Boom Sonic and Sunset tried to approach him.
Boss, this isn't what we talked about!
Sonic stared at them in disbelief after hearing that.
You knew?
Meanwhile, FS just kept holding Sonic while glaring at him like a maniac.
You have no idea what you're doing!
Sonic and Sunny rolled in the ground as they arrived into a forest.
Everyone keeps telling me how my story is supposed to go!
Sonic holds his hand over FS' shoulder, charging his powers to blow him away.
Nah. Imma do my own thing.
FS' eyes widened after hearing this.
Soon, we see Sonic ripping a part of the train he's over with his right arm transformed into a Knuckles' one and then throwing the piece at FS, who made claws come out of his gloves to rip apart the piece of the train.
Now, we see a heptagon-shaped portal open over Canterlove Studios, as FS walks ahead with a frown while variants of Twilight and Shadow come out of the portal behind.
All stations, stop Sonic the Hedgehog!
In the same base with many Mobians and Equestrians, after getting the order from FS, all the Sonics looked and pointed at each other with suspicion.
You?/Him?/Her?/Them?/Me?
Finally, we see every single member of this Society chasing Sonic, as he runs away from them.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG X MY LITTLE PONY: THE FINAL ACT
In a therapist's office, it was apparently almost 11:00 a.m.
A Young Sonic's variant was crying and laying over a couch, while a Twilight variant acted like a therapist and took down notes from everything the Young Sonic's variant was telling her.
And then, I looked at my mother and...
Ah, let me guess... She died?
But right then, one of the walls of the therapist's office was destroyed, and Sonic appeared screaming loudly in panic, while many Mobians and Equestrians were right behind him, still trying to capture him.

So a version of Twilight(curious of which one it is) with the Sonics our Sonic knows along with Alicorn Sunset & Sunny are on the run with Sonic from FS & the other versions of Sonic, Twilight, & Shadow while Opaline is pulling the spot on multiverse? And now they have to handle things like in Prime again!?
Sonic: sounds like a typical Thursday to me.

Shadow: you just never learn to take things serious.
