as I was finishing listening to my favorite fiction radio program radio i found a home in the village i was called by my sargent he told me that command said to hold the village at all cost that the Totenkopf Chrysalis Division and the Rusland Division are heading our way we're low on ammo and using our emergency rations we dug in and wait for a war cry came from the enemy we light them up with machine gun and rifle fire on the firth wave we ran out of ammo we rely on our bayonets and combat knives we held the line til dawn we withdraw to the rear other divisions begin to steamroll the enemy towards the remaining forts and villages till high command give a halt order till supplies from the sacred road come up back at rest camp we had double rations for what we when through we deserved it i played cards with my men till we get our next orders
