it's Parents Day at the naval school I'm looking forward to seeing my parents and so is Vanessa we spent time together till they came Vanessa was a little nervous she was meeting my parents for the first time i kissed her on her cheek that clam her down "he's a keeper " a voice said we turned our heads it was Vanessa's mother i can see where she her beauty and grace from Vanessa hug her mother and introduce me to her
her mother was a hotel/spa owner their tradition was that the mother would pass on the business to their daughter so Vanessa would be next in line to run the family business i told her of my love for her daughter she was pleased and asked "When is the wedding?"Margit asked "MOTHER," Vanessa said blushing my blush was redder than James's shiny coat before i could respond my parents came to my mom Joanne was a human with pony ears and tails and my dad Bertram was a hippogriff I hugged them and introduced them to my girlfriend and her mother it turns out her mom and my mom are friends so all of us got all along parent day was awesome lunch was great I made my showstopper dessert coffee cake serve with chocolate ice cream i guess HE class paid off they all love it by the evening we all spend time together until it was time to go we said goodbye to our parents i know after naval school me and Vanessa will get married and build a family of our own together that was my dream little that I know my dream will become a nightmare that no one saw coming
