It's 2020 All Over Again 😔 · 7:15pm March 3rd
If you've been following me long enough, you may remember a blog post that I did back in March of 2020 (that I deleted a couple years ago while in the midst of an especially bad depressive episode) explaining that I'd lost my job and would be taking a break from writing. Well, I guess you could call this blog post Part 2 to that one because I've once again lost my job.
I don't want to go into a ton of details about this unfortunate situation, but it basically boils down to this: my company had a pretty bad 2023, and because of this they decided to eliminate about half-a-dozen jobs this past Friday; one of them being mine.
So now I'm unemployed and job-hunting again, and thanks to this the amount of time I can devote to writing has decreased dramatically - at least for the short-term. As such, I'm going to be putting Living On An Emu Farm Just Outside of Town on hiatus until my situation improves. I'll keep working on Twilight Tries whenever I can find the time, but just know that I may not be releasing a new chapter at the end of every month like I've been doing.
Thank you all for your understanding, and as always for your continued support of my writing.
Love,
Peni
It sucks that you lost your job. bro. Stay strong, something else will come along.
Sorry to hear that *hug*
Job hunting sucks :(, it took me like 6 months to find my first job just because I don't have a drivers license.
I hope your situation improves soon!
