A sincere apology to everyone that followed - and/or is still following - Subject Delta - Rapturous for Equestria. That’s the first thing I would like to start with.
To continue, as some of you may have noticed, I haven't been on FIMFiction for a few months - 25 weeks and 2 days, as I write this. Actually, I haven’t been active in anything for quite awhile, although I did not choose to do so. There are a range of things that cause this to happen, although I won’t bore you with my personal life.
What is more important is the following - I finally realised what I was doing. Or what I wasn't doing, rather. Back in June I told you all that I would return soon with a new chapter, that when the vacation came I would have more time to write. Although, it did not work out that way. At the moment, I have about two thousand words written - although those aren't anywhere near to being published, and probably a thousand or more written down as various ideas.
The ideas are there. I know what I need to write. However, I just cannot do so for some reason. Everyday I told myself I would just start writing and see where I would end up, however, it wouldn’t be... nowhere near to what my expectations are for SD-RfE.
So, you are probably now asking yourself, why didn’t you come on sooner to tell us this? To keep this short: I was ashamed. Ashamed I couldn’t write anything decent, ashamed I let many of you - and Subject Delta - down. I had promised myself to not return to FIMFic before I wrote a new chapter. However, there came no new chapter. There came nothing at all.
Then university started and everything went downhill from there. To be short, I had a rough year. If it wasn’t uni standing in my way, it would be family problems or personal issues. However, my imagination did not falter. I still gained more ideas every passing day. I still hoped that I would continue SD-RfE.
However, to tell you the truth, I am afraid to do so. To explain this, I’ll tell you what I have been doing for the past two weeks. I started writing again... which many difficulties at first, but gradually, I started to enjoy it again. I wanted to write something short, a simple one-shot. Something to ease me into writing itself and something to give you, before we pass into a new year. And I succeeded in doing so.
I was mistaken in thinking it was going to be short. The first draft alone was nine thousand words. Then I started to edit and, well, I have a solid fifteen thousand words that I feel are worthy to be posted.
So, here I am, after such a long time. And don’t know if anyone still cares. After such a long time, I do not expect anyone to still care. However, I am still here. And, hopefully, this time I won’t just disappear again - even if I don’t have anything to post except a status update.
Today, or tomorrow, ‘Nighttime Eternal, Dawn Anew’ will be posted - and I can say that with certainty because I just finished editing it. I poured everything I had into it, during the fourteen days it took to write and edit. I like what it became. And I hope you will like it too.
So, to recap, I am back in some capacity. SD-RfE will be placed on hiatus until I feel confident enough to tackle the next chapter - without getting into an endless loop of writer's block and such. A new oneshot will get posted soon for - hopefully - your amusement.
And to end this, I wish to apologise to all of you again.
And I wish you all a merry/happy *whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year*.

'Once upon a time... is how many legends and myths begin, yet all of them share the same downfall - they are but stories. Chronicles about how kingdoms raised from icy planes and eventually fell to the darkness. Tales about regal sisters who ruled together, until one of them tried to shroud the land in eternal darkness.
Nonetheless, there are still those myths which do tell the truth. They may glance over the gruesome details of war, the bravery of allies come to aid in battle, the sacrifices made by some to save the many... however they still portrait those in their own way.
Yet, as the dust settles on the forgotten front lines, as old armor and swords are discarded, as history books lay forgotten on bookshelves after years of disuse there are still those few left who do remember. Those who are as old as the myths and legends they tell, or even older still, can purge the dust of forlorn tales and breathe life into them once again. Yet they should not be asked to relay the stories they have tried to forget for such a long time... .
However, in old libraries, where nopony has ventured in a long time, or on old and dusty bookshelves, stowed away in musty attics, there are still those books left that possess the same knowledge... books that truly never forget.
And sometimes you have but to find them and ask them a simple question.
That is where this story begins.'

Did i saw a ghost ?! pwew ! hey there T', you know there's still people wich are watching patiently, yes, there's peoples which still care and you shouldn't be ashamed. why ? because not everybody is good at writting and it's still not easy to make a good one.
I understand why you didn't showed up for a long time cause' quality and other stuff'... but you are not alone if you need help

Just write whatever you feel will be the best. There is nothing worse than a rushed fic...
1: you are stupid because you feel ashamed. Everyone gets writers block, it's a part of writing.
2: you are stupid for thinking we don't care. We are here for you if you ever just need a responsive wall to talk to
3: you are stupid cus you think we only care for your subject delta story. We like your writing, wherever it is subject delta or something else

Dude, we're bronies. That title means we care and aren't afraid to support others.
Listen, you don't have to feel bad because of those things. Every author goes through a bout of writer's block, or fatigue, or other things that stop us from writing no matter what we do, it's nothing to be ashamed of!
Yeah, I know how hard it is to come clean when you feel shame of something but feel like you can't say it, but that is just on your head.
If you're having that many difficulties with writing SD:RfE, tell us. If our help doesn't work, pass onto another page, and write something else. If you just can't write for junk, just be around to chat with us. Just don't diseappear on us like you did, dude; I honestly thought something bad had happened to you!
Either way, have a great holiday season, an excellent vacation and good luck with the writing. Now, I got some beers with your name on it that need some tending to

Subject delta kicks ass. I can't tell you how many times I have read and reread that story.
Adding to what 637041 said, Rapturous for Equestria was what compelled me to buy Bioshock 2, no joke!
