G5 is objectively good and I will die on that hill. But putting our last feud about this aside as that’s water under the bridge now, I do have to agree with you here. It amazes me that the fandom still possesses the innate ability to create awesome stuff out of seemingly the tiniest details, even after all these years. I’ve seen some absolutely fantastic stuff like the G5 Animatics by Robin Jacks, a couple of short fan animations with voices, and this video too. Watching it did make me laugh pretty hard, I’m not going to lie. I like how it takes humorous digs at some of the names given to certain locales like the Brighthouse. Hasbro’s always been quite overt with naming their new additions stuff that would look good on playsets, and it was funny to see that kinda riffed on here.

I may be a huge fan, but I can take a couple laughs at this gen’s expense every now and then, as long as it’s in good fun. And I do have to appreciate the animation here. Quite smooth if you ask me and I think this actually would’ve been a better style for Tell Your Tale to work with, as it looks more like its CGI counterpart Make Your Mark, rather than being the exact opposite and causing some confusion. So top marks to the animator here for staying true to the superior style, while still making it their own thing.
