Madness and Ponies

Well, the last couple of days have been eventful.

I got sick with the flu ("yay") and then lay around my house like a sack of potatoes for a couple of days. The passing storm of exams has subsided, but I don't feel empowered to write more material for Of Mischief and Ponies. I have some ideas lying around here and there, but it might take some time for them to mesh into something worth reading. So, rather than stare at the word document like a square, I'm working on something completely unrelated. Many, many references will be here and there. Direct or indirect they will be, but for you to find out, not me.

Oh god, that sounded like Zecora. Too riddled with riddles of the riddle kind, do not want!

This will be an interesting fic, as so far I've blown my own mind with the amount of hell and slop that passes around in there. I have currently amassed 2500 words, and I am planing on many more. Plot and continuity reasons drive this as I am shooting for about 4000 words, or many more. This depends on how long I can concentrate before being distracted by food and life.

Speaking of life, I am going skiing for the later end of December. Whether I'll get any writing done is debatable, for I do not know if I will bring my laptop for the journey. Also, just throwing it in here, if anyone wants to volunteer as a pre-reader right now, just PM me. I need someone to pre-read for this, but, if no one steps up to the shooting gallery, I'll just find a chap somewhere here.

Edit: Oh, just an update upon the story situation. I have a healthy 5000 word story currently under peer review, or attempted. Might find an editor before putting it up.
