So... I know it's still not Friday in most of the world, but it already is where I live, and again in the spirit of having something to share that isn't me complaining or apologizing for delays, I thought I should have another one of these jokes.
This one is a little different from the previous one, in that it features actual My Little Pony characters, and in a sense might feature them out of character (in a context that is hopefully forgiveable as per Rule of Funny)... but hopefully, the humor will make it work.
Again, I hope whoever reads it will get a few laughs. :)
Here is the joke.
"Diamond Tiara?" Miss Cheerile asked. "Would you come forward and read your fiction assignment about a poor family, please?"
Prim and proper as always, Diamond Tiara stepped forward until she was facing her classmates, holding her essay in her mouth. Then, shifting it to her hooves, she unfolded the page and began reading.
"Once upon a time, there was a very poor family.
The father was poor.
The mother was poor.
The daughter was poor.
The aunts, uncles and cousins were poor.
The grandparents were poor.
The butler was poor.
The maids were poor.
The chef was poor.
The secretary was poor.
The gardener was poor.
Everypony in the family was very poor."
