Why I Cancelled RBRS

So, firstly, thank you so much to everyone who read my fic, and apologies to anyone invested in the story. For various reasons, I've decided to cancel the story, and instead take a break while I brainstorm some other fic ideas.

One of the biggest reasons was that the format of the fic simply doesn't work out. It's incredibly difficult to keep running four separate plot lines- six if you include the side plots- all on the same time scale. Plus, I feel like I'm not able to give each character the proper focus and development that they deserve when there are just so many other characters- it's difficult for both me and the reader to remember each one's personality without obvious clues.

Writing this fic was genuinely something I enjoyed doing. It gave me a chance to improve my written English while also providing a fun project to think about during quiet hours at work, and something to occupy me during my free time. It was especially fun creating the framework for a mystery, which will sadly not ever be resolved.
