Brief review of the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie

This is personally one of my favorite “horror-adjacent” movie I have seen (even if it was more thriller than horror and wasn’t all that scary). There wasn’t much that negatively clicked with me (though I could see where some of the cheesiness came in).

I like how they actually made the animatronics act like children. It’s different, fresh, and cool to see it officially play out. Loved seeing the animatronics in the movie as a whole.

The ending gave me a huge rush of energy and excitement, and it was pretty prominent the moment Spring Bonnie entered the scene. The springlock scene was different than expected, but still very cool to play out! And when Afton said “I always come back,” a bunch of the audience including myself gave a round of applause. The second time was when the freaking Living Tombstone FNaF song started playing. Damn, that was cool to see.

All-in-all an incredibly fun experience for me and will definitely get it on DVD even if I don’t use them often.
