In the Brighthouse bedroom. Tails let out a sigh and shook his head, while Sunny and Sonic sat at his side.
This past months I grew physically, sure... but has anything changed at all?
Eggman stared at his next and most dangerous project so far, which consisted of a strange, metallic looking like liquid contained inside of a capsule.
Such a fascinating substance, yet we still know so little about it...
Someone jumped in the air, and then tried to kick Sunny, if it wasn't because of Omega, who got in the middle and worked like a shield for her, before pushing that someone back.
The creature soon revealed himself as Shadow, who's body was pink and metallic now, his wrists and ankles got spikes, and his fingers grew to look like claws. His sclera was red now, and his pupils were yellow, while all his teeth sharpened, and he roared in rage.
The idea is to make a massive army of powerful ponies, and maybe some Mobians, out of this liquid
Sonic's hands were trembling and covered a bit by the metallic liquid, but soon, it started to spread, fully covering his hands, followed by his arms getting slowly covered in the virus as well, and then, it started to spread on his back, on his chest, and his feet, but of course, at a very slow paste.
With such an army, not even Opaline's Magic could be a match to me!
Opaline herself grinned from ear to ear, while she also started to laugh like a complete maniac.
In Zephyr heights, Misty was with the rest of the Mane 6 and with Team Sonic on the garden.
We know you've been through a lot, Misty. There's still so much to unpack.
After a musical number with both groups, a tree grew in the castle's backyard thanks to their combined magic.
In Bridlewood, Tails and Misty walked in what seemed to be an Eggman lab along Rouge and Omega.
Eggman... Wherever you are hiding, whatever you are planning, it doesn't matter... I'm stopping you with my friends, and that's a promise!
Now we get a montage of several scenarios.
First, we see Sonic transforming into a strange creature, as his skin gets more darker, his teeth all sharpen, and his gloves rip off because of his hands getting bigger and with claws.
Next, we see a much younger Knuckles in the Altar of Emerald, facing and ready to fight a huge and purple dragon with green scales and belly, wings resembling a gigantic bat, and sharp claws.
Now, we see Tails and Zipp flying in the sky around, staring lovingly at each other while apparently singing as well.
Next, we see Tails hugging Misty for comfort on her room, the very same day of her Cutie Blossom Bash.
Here, we see Hitch, Izzy and Pipp's bodies shining brightly, while Sonic and Tails stared at them nervously, but Sonic was more specially nervous for Pipp's safety.
And finally, we see Sonic experimenting very schizophrenic moments, reviving the living memory of a moment in the Starfall Islands that marked him in the months prior that adventure.
I am inevitable...
Sonic lay on a tree, holding it tightly with a hand, while the other one was placed on his chest. He was tearing up, his breath increased, and he closed his eyes in despair
I cannot be denied...
Tails was fighting 1v1 against Opaline, while a bunch of creatures called Zombots surrounded them in massive numbers.
No matter what form I take...
Sonic threw several stuff to Misty in the air, while the Unicorn mare used her magic to destroy them all.
A pair of fully white eyes were staring and glaring daggers at Sonic, who's eyes only showed pure shock, terror and panic.
The End comes for you all
The creature glaring at Sonic laughed maniacally, while Sonic himself began to breathe even more hardly.
Tails stood up from his hidden spot on his workshop, grabbed a jar with an orange substance, and walked towards the exit with a confident smile, while Zipp and Misty followed behind him with smiles.

Tails focused, and focused, and focused, until time stopped moving for a moment, and the Chaos Emeralds surrounded him. They twirled around him for a few seconds, before entering his body and illuminate it entirely.
