Currently doing a bar crawl in Downtown (ok so we started in Corktown and are making our way through any good AVAILABLE bar today) with some friends and a couple of co-workers of mine, who we unintentionally ran into. You know, ironically, my beloved Dad's Birthday is also on this day and he sometimes gripes about how this tragedy overshadows it.

I find the irony in that today's my eldest nephew's birthday as well. He's 7 today and doesn't completely understand why he had to take a moment of silence in school today.

This is trauma that can NEVER heal....nearly 3,000 lives lost that day...I was almost 4 and in Detroit, but I saw the tv and was in shock and terror.
