Long story short: Finally got job, no commissions or writing for the time being.
Frankly, I was incredibly stressed out and depressed due to job search.
Now I just recently got a very, *very* well-paying job at a FAANG, which means that life is good again.
It also means that I probably will not do any commissions, for the time being. I really do not need the money right now. If I feel like writing, I'd rather explore my own ideas. Still, there's no guarantees here: I will be pretty busy with my job, and my writing moods are a bit sporadic.
There's a list of "Stories I'd like to write at some point", and maybe I'll write some more cute short one-shots or some utterly shameless, indulgent fetish material, but again, there's no guarantees or concrete plans.
Congratulations on new job! I was coincidentally also in a new job search and was hired on the 21st, so around the same week. Much love and glad things worked out for you.
Congratulations! It's a little silly that you can be worth so much and yet companies still don't recognize your worth; it's good that you crossed that bridge.
