Hey guys, I have some exciting piece of news to share to you! In case some don't remember, I put in a blog post about me being a part of a forestry apprenticeship over in Alabama A&M State University. Well, it ended over two months ago and I will be heading back out there tonight to check into my dorm room! Classes for this semester have already been registered for and I'm ready to start my first semester at the university! It also means I'll be going on a hiatus in a sense - unless I somehow manage to find a balance between my classes and my hobbies. With that being said, I am excited to take my first steps as a university student!
For my second piece of news, I have officially created my own Boosty account! I meant to tell you guys about this after I did so, but somethings got in the way. I decided that this would be a good substitute compared to Patreon as things were not going well for me there - as I'm sure it didn't with others. From this point on, I'll be posting content there for anyone who wants to get sneak peeks and subscribe to it for exclusive writing before it gets released here. Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, I still have my Ko-Fi account for anyone who wants to donate there instead. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
Concluding this blog with my final piece of news, me Mom and I are going to be getting puppies! That's right, dogs will be added into my family the first time in my life and I am excited! They are German Rottweilers and both of them will be boys! We're mainly getting them to be guard dogs for me and my Mom's house when I go off to university, but they'll be new additions to the family nonetheless. We'll be getting them this Saturday once I get my dorm room and things settled in said form room. And while I admit I'm apprehensive about owning a dog for the first time, I'm sure I'll learn the ropes eventually. Here's to a brand new - albeit furry - chapter in my life! Alongside the university one!
