I had to come up with an amazing story idea filled with magic, Demi humans, swords, mythical creatures, and Divine Knights. I was watching Sword Art Online when it inspired me to come up with this idea. I guess you can say it's sort of like that and Final Fantasy mixed into one.
Here's my idea so far for it:
It stars with a young Flash playing with his friends out in the fields until one of them comes up with an idea to go up in the mountains into a cave. Flash however reminds them of a rule that must be followed across the land. There are three races known to the land based off of the three Pony tribes of Equestria: unicorn, pegasi, and Earth ponies. There has been a divide between these three tribes and no one knows how it all began. Each tribe stays on the three separate sides of the mountain and neither side is allowed to cross into each other's territory.
One of his friends however persuade him to go and only promised to stay within the canes and not cross the line into the territories if they ever reach the exits of that territory.
When they go deep enough into the cave, they find the cave Frozen and filled with ice every, including finding a skeleton dragon that looked like it was killed long ago. Not only that, they also find a white sword next to the dragon skeleton.
They were unable to pull the sword out from the ice until Flash heard a strange voice coming deeper within the cave. He soon follows that voice with his friends behind until they heard what sound like conflict coming from not too far. They soon came to the end of the cave to find a a fight going on between a Divine Knight and a Dark Knight.
They noticed that the Divine Knight was defending a little girl wrapped in a cloak. Flash decided to help the little girl an unknowingly would be the start of a grand adventure.
That's what I think should be a good story, but I might need help writing it. Plus this could be a great cover image for it:
